A roller coaster of a session, with the aim of introducing teachers to a range of new material for working on monologues and duologues with their students. From hidden gems of the international classical canon, to new plays hot from the fringe, this course is designed to re-energise approaches to teaching text in performance.

A ‘taster’ CPD session exploring a range of directing styles and techniques aimed at opening up creative possibilities for staging work, including developing strategies to create ensemble work, exploring approaches to creating a physical language in performance, and an overview of stylistic approaches to directing, focussing on Apollo Theatre Company’s approach to Blue Remembered Hills, by Dennis Potter.
